How to Post
- Look for posts marked “Response Question” with the page numbers for your week. Pick a question that you want to answer.
- Click on the word “comments” right below the question. This will take you to a new page.
- Type your answer into the “leave your comment” box on the right.
Guidelines for posting:
Please use proper spelling and capitalization -- this is the
internet, but it is also still class work!
Your answer must be at least 50 words long.
Your answer must be posted by 8 a.m. on the deadline day.
Please read other people’s posts and think about what they
are saying. You are welcome to agree/disagree with them in
your own posts – but also make sure that your posts show original thought.
- Sign your post. Below your comment, select the “name/url” choice under “choose your identity.” Then please type your first name and last initial in the “name” box. You must do this correctly or else we can’t give you credit for your work!

Ciera's project is very nice and it shows Douglass through his whole life. She used some of the same pictures that I used and I think they were strong pictures about Douglass and also slavery.
I think Ciera's collage is okay but I also think she could have did a way better job. This whole project assignment was for us to show what we learned and I believe the images of his life she is displaying will not shock anyone. Although she used good photos, she should have presented a picture of him fighting Mr. Covey or him sleeping in a potato bag in freezing weather, something that would make someone want to "read" the story
